AIMEEPA is
dedicated to protect the environmental
rights of all people, including future
generations. Among these rights are
clean air, clean water, healthy food and
flourishing ecosystems. We are guided by
scientific evaluation of environmental
problems, and the solutions we advocate
are based on the latest scientific
studies in the field of environment.
AIMEEPA aims to find out sustainable
solutions that will have direct
environment-al, economic and social
impact. As an organization based in
Europe, working for the region, we pay
special attention to Middle East & North
Africa environmental problems and to
European environmental know– how, aiming
to share our approach and our vision.
Our vision is crystal clear, we believe
that people of developing countries have
the Right to enjoy the fruits of the
latest environmental know – how and its
fruits and to live in a clean and
healthy environment that can reach the
peace and the freedom.

with healthy habits and respect for
their Built environment.
Principles
of Operation
Aimeepa
aspires to implement the four principles
of sustainable development:
Ecology, for the
ecosystem and ensuring pure air and
water, moderation of weather
elements, “creating” land and
increasing its fertility,
pollination, and other activities
are vital to the existence and
welfare of the Region Citizens, as
they are to humanity and life at
large. In the absence of responsible
management of natural resources,
those same ecosystems in Region upon
which life is dependent will
collapse under the pressures of
development and the increase in
population and consumption.
Modifying the Earth’s environment by
human activities, human beings were
able to escape the environmental
constraints that limited other
species and to change the
environment to meet their needs,
AIMEEPA will act to conserve and
improve the capacity of nature and
its ability to provide ecological
services, preventing damage to them
by destructive aspires.
Social, Nature and
ecological services belong to the
public, now and in the future. They
are a cultural asset and an
essential corner stone in building
the region heritage, and fill a
vital role in creating social unity,
along with national and civic
identity. Inadequate environmental
protection as well insufficient
access and enjoyment of our cultural
scenery, nature, and ecological
services by large segments of the
population intensify social gaps and
tensions. AIMEEPA program for
Blooming the Deseret (Plant Your
Life Tree) are an example of
services provided by nature. In
light of the fact that healthy
development is aimed at increasing
the sense of public unity and
minimizing social tensions, AIMEEPA
will view in nature as
social-cultural resource that
belongs to all, and will act to
preserve, rehabilitate, and nurture
it.
Economic, Development
seeks to establish economic
development on the basis of
ecological and social principles.
AIMEEPA aspires to foster economic
opportunities alongside an
enlightened, comprehensive strategy
for using the ecosystem’s
“interest”, and not it’s
“principal”, for the benefit of the
entire Region public. This policy
should ensure livelihoods for the
region citizens and serve as a
significant economic asset to both
local and the national government.
Inter-gene rationality,
AIMEEPA holds in its trust for
present and future generations,
natural resources, and will
therefore continue to act for
defence and to avoid the acquisition
by private or business interests
whose aim is to profit from them in
short term.
Implementation
Applying the
principles of sustainable development
requires the broadening of horizons
during the process of crafting policy
and its implementation. In the context
of consolidation of appropriate policy,
the following must be taken into
consideration:
A multi-disciplinary analysis Of
AIMEEPA policy to evaluate the
impact of the entirety of ecological
and social parameters.
A broad-based analysis of
AIMEEPA policy to evaluate the
impact of its activities on the full
range of geographic regions, from
the local to the global.
A long-term impact analysis of
AIMEEPA policy, evaluating its
impact on future generations.
Looking before We Leap, AIMEEPA
will act to shape a “sustaining”
vision in all spheres of its
activity. Policies in the present
will be derived from objectives set
for the future.
An Applied Policy of
Sustainability, A focused policy
that translates the abstract
principles of sustainable
development into specific criteria
and concrete practices will be
formulated for all spheres of
AIMEEPA activity.
The Precautionary Principle,
AIMEEPA is alert to unanticipated
threats to natural treasures and the
environment that are entailed in
unmonitored human activity. In
situations of scientific
uncertainty, AIMEEPA will act
proactively to ensure that natural
treasures and the environment are
not harmed.
Tools
Parallel to the
shaping and implementation of a
“sustainable” policy in all spheres of
activity, AIMEEPA will apply general
tools for the advancing of sustainable
development, including but not
restricted to:
Public involvement,
Because a sustainable policy is
founded on broad public-civic
support, and because development is
for the sake of present and future
generations. AIMEEPA will
proactively initiate the involvement
of the public and ensure
transparency in its information and
decision-making processes as an
integral part of its policy
implementation.
Surveys and studies,
AIMEEPA will take precautionary
measures in its development
activity, including the drafting of
environmental surveys that examine
all aspects of sustainability prior
to the execution of projects that
have significant implications for
the environment. Due to impact on
future generations, the will invest
independent scientific and planning
resources in research studying the
long-term impact of its activities.
In addition, the AIMEEPA will adopt
criteria for the monitoring and
utilization of indicators for
measuring trends as essential tools
in evaluating its work.
Education, The AIMEEPA
education network aspires to advance
the vision of sustainable
development within ME society. As
such, the network will promote
ecological, social-cultural,
economic, and inter-generational
values of sustainable development as
pillars of its educational
philosophy.
